Agent Interface

Great Wave AI Studio

The Agent Management Dashboard provides a centralized interface for creating, organizing, and managing all your AI agents. This guide walks you through every function available in the dashboard—from creating a new agent to deploying a live interface.

1. Creating a New Agent

At the top of the dashboard, you’ll find four options for creating new agents:

  • Standard Agent: A flexible, general-purpose agent using configurable LLMs and context.

  • Fusion Agent: Designed to combine multiple context or data sources into a unified response model.

  • Sequence Agent: Ideal for workflows that involve multi-step reasoning or chained tasks.

  • Adaptive Agent: Built for dynamic environments where the agent needs to adjust behavior based on input or interaction.

Click any button to initiate setup for a new agent of that type.

2. Agent Cards Overview

Each agent in your workspace is displayed as a card. These cards provide a snapshot of the agent’s key details:

  • Agent Name: The name given to the agent during setup.

  • Description: A customizable text area to describe the agent’s job or function.

  • Tags: Visual labels like “Internal” or “HR” used to categorize agents.

  • Owner: Displays the username of the agent's creator or manager.

  • Select Button: Opens the configuration interface for the selected agent.

3. Filtering and Searching Agents

The sidebar on the left includes tools for organizing and narrowing down your list of agents:

  • Search Bar: Type to search by agent name.

  • Filter by Tags: Select specific tags to display only relevant agents.

  • Agents by User: Dropdown to show agents belonging to a specific user.

  • Agents by Type: Checkboxes to display agents by category—Standard, Fusion, Sequence, or Adaptive.

  • Show Hidden Agents: Toggle to reveal or hide agents that have been archived.

4. Agent Options Menu

Click the three-dot icon () on any agent card to access additional management tools:

  • Edit Info

    • Update the agent’s name, description, and tags.

    • Helps maintain accurate and organized records as the project evolves.

  • Live Agent

    • Launches a shareable, user-facing chat interface.

    • Use this to deploy the agent to users without requiring access to the main dashboard.

    • Opens a standalone view of the agent suitable for external use.

  • Hide Agent

    • Removes the agent from the default dashboard view.

    • Useful for decluttering or archiving old or inactive agents.

    • Use the "Show hidden agents" toggle to view or restore them.

  • Delete Agent

    • Permanently deletes the agent and its data.

    • Caution: This action is irreversible. Ensure the agent is no longer needed before proceeding.

5. Best Practices

  • Update Agent Descriptions: Replace default text with meaningful summaries to clarify agent roles.

  • Use Tags Strategically: Group agents by function, team, or department for easier filtering.

  • Review Regularly: Periodically clean up inactive or test agents by hiding or deleting them.

  • Deploy with Live Agent: Use the Live Agent feature to roll out polished agents to stakeholders or end users.
